Paul Caillier, Ph.D

Dr. Caillier received an undergraduate degree in Experimental Social Psychology from Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1971. He received a Master’s degree from Carleton University in Learning/Behavior Modification in 1972 and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1980 from the University of Manitoba, Canada with specialties in neuropsychology, psychopathology and psychotherapy. The University of Manitoba program is an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited clinical program.  He served an externship at Marshfield Clinic in 1973 and an APA accredited internship at Galesburg State Research Hospital in 1975. He has been licensed in the state of Wisconsin as a psychologist since 1981. Dr. Caillier has maintained certification from the Counsel for the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology since 1983.

From 1982 to present, he has been in private practice at Caillier Clinic, Ltd. in Eau Claire, Menomonie and Rice Lake. Dr. Caillier’s practice primarily consists of the assessment and treatment of individuals with psychological disorders and brain injuries. Dr. Caillier performs intellectual, achievement, personality and neuropsychological evaluations. His legal work has consisted of commitment, competency, and locus of pain determinations and assessment of brain injuries. From 1984 to 1991, Dr. Caillier was a clinical consultant at the Luther Hospital Psychiatric Unit in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where he treated acutely ill psychiatric and chemically dependent patients. Dr. Caillier also served as a consultant to the Fairview Hospital System in Minneapolis, Minnesota from 1985 to 1994. Dr. Caillier has served as an assessor and consultant to the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Corrections, and the Bureau of Disability Determination of the Social Security Administration.

Dr. Caillier has a wealth of experience which allows him to get to the heart of the matter in an evaluation and reveal it in a compassionate and understandable way to his clients. Dr. Caillier is interested in personal growth, functional behavior, and developing solutions and strategies that work.

Dr. Caillier is available at the Eau Claire, Rice Lake, and Menomonie clinics and offers psychological and other specialty evaluations to determine diagnoses for ADHD, brain injuries, personality, memory issues, learning disorders, legal/personal injury, Autism, and behavior disorders in children, adolescents, and adults.
