Rhiana Erickson

Rhiana Erickson, MS, LMFT

Rhiana is a licensed therapist and she works with individuals from age 3 into adulthood on a variety of mental health issues. She currently specializes in trauma focused therapies. She also sees individuals for play based therapies, poor self-esteem, depression, anxiety, mindfulness skills, parenting education, and behavioral issues. 

Rhiana received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with a minor in Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2013. She then completed her Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2017. Rhiana is a certified provider of Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. 

Having been at Caillier Clinic since 2014, Rhiana worked previously as a part of the Behavioral Intervention Team where she provided treatments including supportive in-home family skill building for parents, family members, and children. She has also been given extensive training in other areas such as child management, psychoeducation with caregivers, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), anxiety and stress management, and functional skills training with children. 

Rhiana has had extensive experience working with a variety of clientele in the Eau Claire area. Prior to Caillier Clinic, she was a direct service provider for children with Autism, worked as a child advocate in a domestic violence shelter, and worked as a lead staff member at a homeless shelter for adults. She has been extensively trained in the mental health field through her many experiences. Rhiana has been described as a very caring and empathic therapist who encourages understanding, growth, and positive gains with her clients. She connects easily with clients and works exceedingly well with children and their families. Rhiana is very dedicated to the therapeutic services that she offers and regularly attends trainings to improve her skills. 

Outside of work, Rhiana is a registered yoga instructor (RYT200) and hopes to incorporate her learnings of the mind-body connection into her future work with clients. Rhiana enjoys reading, taking care of her many houseplants, spending time with her family and pets, cooking, and getting out in nature. 

Rhiana currently sees clients in the Eau Claire office and accepts some insurances, medical assistance, CCS and county funding, and private pay.
